Streaks has never shipped an Android version, and its App Store listing still shows only Apple platforms. If you liked it on an iPhone and moved to Android, nothing imports and you are choosing again from scratch.
what Streaks actually is
Checked on its App Store page on 2 November 2026: Streaks lists iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple Vision, and no Android version anywhere. It is a one-time purchase with no in-app purchases, and it needs no sign-up.
That is a genuinely good deal, and it is worth saying plainly: if you are staying on Apple, “it costs too much” is not a reason to leave it. The reason to leave it is the phone in your pocket.
what to look for instead
Moving platform is the one moment you get to re-pick, so it is worth asking more than “which one looks like Streaks”.
Does it run on both? If there is any chance you switch again, an app that exists on one platform is a three-year history with an expiry date.
Does your history survive a new phone? Many Android trackers are fully offline with no account, which is good for privacy and means the data dies with the device.
What does a missed day cost? A streak counter sends months back to zero on the first miss and charges nothing for the thirtieth. Why that is backwards.
what RIPEN does here
RIPEN is the same app on both platforms — iPhone and Android, same tree, same rules — so switching phones does not mean switching trackers.
There is no account, and the tree is on your phone. A copy for moving to a new phone is encrypted with a phrase you hold, so your history survives the device without living on someone’s server in readable form. How that works.
Instead of a streak, a marked day grows a leaf; missed days in a row cost 1, then 2, then 3 leaves, capped at 3 a day; and the branch never gets shorter. Nothing resets to zero.
A fruit grows at 66 leaves on a branch, which is a milestone rather than a counter you can lose.
Pro is bought once, not a subscription. Free is one identity with five habits. What it costs.
What RIPEN does not have, and Streaks does: a watch app, a Mac app, and twelve years of refinement on Apple hardware. If you are on an iPhone and happy, stay.
